Birthday Babes

You'll recognize the little dude in these pictures as my one true love.  And the girl?  My adorable little niece.  The two monkeys were due about a month apart but ended up being a mere 2 1/2 hours apart. I was ecstatic.  We like to joke about how they are better than twins.  All the fun, but the "work" is split between four adults instead of two.  All you Utahans will get a kick out of this...their names are Parley and Canyon. It wasn't until they were a day or two old that we realized the humor in that. Anyway, from the day they were born I was dreaming of their joint cake smashing session. And what an adventure it was.  Allow me to narrate...

Oh come on, it can't be that bad.  Hey Parley, it's cake!  CAKE!!  Come on, you gotta' try this!!!

Oh for crying out loud... it's delicious. 

Heeeelp! It's ooey!  It's gooey!  Why oh why are you making me do this?

*take notice of little dude starting to slip into his sugar daze*

Cant. Stop. Eating. Sugary. Goodness.

It's all over me! This is by far the worst day of my entire life.

Huh, yeah, well good luck with that.  I'm off to find a cold sippy cup of milk.

Wait a minute.  Are you saying that if we EAT this STUFF we can LEAVE?  There.  Are you happy now?

Bright Colors = Happy Me

Alright.  I admit it, my blog has fell to the wayside of lame again.  But don't you worry, I have every intention of bringing it back. Ha! Now, lets start with this gorgeous family...  as the title suggests I was thrilled by their choice in outfits.  For some reason I seem to be drawn to vibrant colors. Yes indeed, bright colors = a very happy me.

My baby turned the big 1 this week.  Let me tell you, it was bittersweet.  I don't think anything goes by faster than a baby's first year.  I took about a thousand pictures of him for his one year pics.  I'm sure I'll be posting more sometime soon but for now, enjoy my favs.

I've had the hubs hard at work making the stand and I've been spending hours on end working on the little details.  It's going to be awesome!  Now for the dates and times...

Easter-Minis

Easter-Minis...what a blast!  We lucked out weather wise this year.  It threatened rain almost all afternoon but never delivered. Nice! Anyway, I couldn't help posting a few (and by a few I mean several) of my favs. Enjoy!
