The Skeleton

This one, well, he melted my heart.  He was silly, a little shy and oh so sweet.

Alice in Wonderland

These, very well may be, the best costumes I have ever seen.

The Handsome Hamburger and Other Ramblings

Haha, so much for a post a day!  Apparently I'm not too great at this blogging thing.  Sure, sure, I've been crazy busy with sessions and my monkeys lately buuuut...the real culprit for my not blogging is none other than....Prison Break.  I actually had a few hours last night where all three monkeys were sleeping, yes, even the baby, who NEVER sleeps (and who is currently cooing and drooling his adorable drool all over my lap) and I was pretty much caught up on editing and picture orders. Perfect opportunity to blog, right?  But, no, I spent it on the couch with the hubs totally engrossed in the first season of Prison Break.  Man, that show is addicting!

Oh and speaking of the hubs he shocked my socks off last night when he informed me Halloween is at the bottom of his favorite holiday list.  Wha-at?!  8 years of marriage and this just barely comes out?!  Halloween?! The bottom? I was horrified.

Well, I suppose enough rambling.  Check out this handsome lil' hamburger.

I pretty much died over his cuteness.  You'll be seeing him again soon on this here blog.

Stay tuned, lets see if I can't stay away from Prison Break and get a few more spook sessions up ;).

Let the countdown begin

Do you realize there is less than a week left before Halloween?!  I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before but, HUGE Halloween fan right here!  I've decided to try to post a Halloween session each day until the big spook day.  I tell you what, I have some fun ones in store!  It makes me giddy just thinking about it!

On another somewhat unrelated note I've also decided to try and make a few pumpkin recipes before Halloween, too. Why?  Because October screams pumpkin to me and I haven't made a single pumpkin recipe all month.  No pumpkin granola or pumpkin whoopie pies or penne with a creamy pumpkin sauce, not even my favorite pumpkin and cream cheese roll. Shameful.  Simply Shameful.
Now on to some pictures....

Let's start with this little guy.  A definite favorite of mine...Yoda, sporting a classic Yoda look.

Ah-ha, doesn't get much better than that!

But wait, you must meet big brother....Darth Vader

Love it!

Halloweenies

I LOVE Halloween.  If I could, I'd marry it.  Yup, that's how much I love it!  Yesterday I got two out of the three Halloween costumes for my munchkins.  I'm still waiting (rather impatiently) for Emma's to come in the mail.  Anyway, I couldn't wait a second longer so I headed out for some costume pics and decided I'll just have to take Em's later.

Gah!  You have to admit this is the cutest little monkey you have ever seen!

And the sassiest little witch you have ever layed eyes on!

By the way, if you want your own Halloween shoot it's not too late.  There are still a few Halloween minis left.

Chills

Sometimes while I am sorting through a session and editing I will come across pictures that give me chills...literally.  Take the following pictures for example...

The funny part is this was part of an extended family session and this specific little one wanted NOTHING to do with the camera.  But oh, how the camera LOVED her.
