I have the best clients ever. Period. Don't believe me? I'll prove it.
I ended up having my little guy 3 weeks early. No big deal, right? Except that I still had a week worth of shoots left. As I was sitting in a hospital bed awaiting my epidural I had to call three different families to cancel. No fun. I pretty much felt terrible. Not only was Jen, shown below, a-okay with my canceling she also brought flowers and balloons to my hospital room the next day. I was so touched by her kindness and understanding.
Now, fast forward 7 months and we finally got their family session done. And in the snow, non-the-less. Amazing family. Amazing shoot.

The Great Debate
I <3 baby legs. A lot.
The Hubs, does not.
"Get my boy out of those tights!" he says
"Not tights, BABY LEGS. And look how they showcase his chubby-wubby thighs and cutsie-wootsie tootsies" I respond.
The Hubs replies by rolling his eyes.
Feel free to join in on the great debate in the comments section... but only if you are going to agree with me ;).

Max
Man, what a kid! Quiet...daring...all boy. During the shoot we were trooping through some pretty rough fields full of thorns and itchy weeds as tall as Max. The cute little dude fell numerous times but always hopped back up, no tears, and continued running searching for yet another stick to play with. I may have wanted to keep him.

Blaine + Rachel
A year or so ago Rachel contacted me about doing a shoot with her and her horses. It, to this day, ended up being one of my all time favorite sessions. So I was beyond excited when Rachel again contacted me...this time for a wedding package. And yep, even more excited when she said she was bringing along the horses for their engagement session. That's a whole lot of excitement, folks ;). And can I just say, I can't wait for their wedding?

Sweat for a Pet
Clear back in October I heard about an event that blew. me. away. In Cache Valley the past two years the Humane Society has hosted a 5k and 1 mile walk with your dog event called, you guessed it, sweat for your pet. All proceeds go to the Humane Society. The amazing part? It was created and organized by a then 11 yr. old girl named, Brylie. That's right, you read correctly.... 11! Volunteering for over a year at the Humane Society wasn't enough for her. She wanted to do more for her furry friends. And can I just tell you, this girl is amazing?! I talked with her on the phone a few times and was so impressed by her professionalism. Because of different obligations I wasn't able to participate in the 5k but I still wanted to help. I ended up donating a photography session for the silent auction. And boy, did I luck out. Becca, shown below, won the session. We had such a great time!
So, all you Cache Valley-ites, keep your eye open for this year's Sweat for a Pet event. I'll be there!

Little Miss Ella
Really, I don't think there is any better way to celebrate turning 5 than with a HUGE ice-cream sundae. Yummo, I say. Yummm-ooo.
