Christmas Minis

It's that time again...Christmas mini-sessions!  Because I have had a lot of requests for these this year I've decided to break up the minis into two days which will not only open up more spots but will also give you more options on the location. Both spots will be in the Salt Lake area. I have some really fun and festive ideas in store for both.

These are perfect, and I do mean perfect for holiday cards. The turn around time for these minis will be 3 days, which will ensure you will have plenty of time if you intend on using them for cards.

Saturday, December 3th (Urban)

Email me at stolenmomentsbybritt@gmail.com to grab your spot. Each mini is $35 and includes a high res. disk with 5 pictures and a print release.  And... are you ready for this?... If you refer and have a friend sign up you will get $5 off.  Can't beat that.

On my mind and in my heart

This morning I have something weighing heavily on my mind so I think I will take a short break from all of my Fall editing and post one of my favorite e-sessions ever...my baby sister's.

Kevin and Crystal were married a good 6 months ago (which gives you a glimpse at how insanely behind I am on the ol' blog-o). Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I may or may not have cried big, ugly, awkward tears all through the ceremony. It happens. Now to the weighing heavily on my mind part...Kevin is in the Air Force and was just deployed to Kuwait.  My heart hurts for them. Yes, it is part of his job and yes, he is happy to do it but I can't help thinking about how they will miss their first Thanksgiving, Christmas and even their first Anniversary together.  That's a lot of time apart and a lot of missed firsts.  And the thing is I know there are many, many others who have and are currently making the same sacrifice. My dear old dad, who was in the army for years, missed out on his fair share of firsts. I guess what I am trying to say is that this morning, in this month where we concentrate on giving thanks, I would like to say thank you to all of the servicemen and women and their families.  My heart is spilling over with gratitude for the sacrifices they make.
